4th ACADA Fraternity Night

SNU-ACADA holds a ceremony to present Seoul National University's Advanced Center for Administrative Development Awards

The Seoul National University's Advanced Center for Administrative Development Alumni (SNU-ACADA) hosted the 4th ACADA Fraternity Night and a ceremony to present Seoul National University's Advanced Center for Administrative Development Awards at the Lotte Hotel on Nov. 30, with roughly 400 alumni in attendance.
Emceed by SNU-ACADA Secretary General Lee Wang-ryul, the event was kicked off by SNU-ACADA Chairman Lee Pil-woo, who delivered a speech in which he pledged to provide warm-hearted concern and support and expressed his hope the ACADA Fraternity Night and prize award ceremony would be a commemorative event designed to contribute greatly to reconciling among the state, society and the alumni association with the goal of making the nation a well-to-do state and helping it make another leap forward.
Kim Byeong-seob, dean of the Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration (SNU-GSPA), said in his speech, "This year, Seoul National University is abuzz with the topic of changing into an incorporated body, of which former SNU Graduate School of Public Administration dean Choi Jong-won and current SNU President Oh Yeon-cheon take charge, and as our graduate school has assisted us by invigorating a master of public administration (MPA) course, the operation of an education program for officials and students from developing countries will allow excellent African students to contribute to making African countries rich.
"Our GSPA is doing its utmost to let the President-leading State Leadership Center serve as a state think-tank. As the relocation of the government to Sejong City, general and presidential elections, and uncertain prospects for inter-Korean relations are the foremost concern, governing a state requires an attitude like cooking a small fish ¡ª being prudent and getting back to the fundamental basics ¡ª and taking an attitude of loving not just himself or herself, but others," he added. He concluded his commemorative speech by expressing his hope that people from Seoul National University's Advanced Center for Administrative Development will share understanding and love with each other and give thanks.
