Seasonal Festivities at Millennium Seoul Hilton

The festive season is soon approaching, and to help you, your family, and colleagues celebrate, the Millennium Seoul Hilton is hosting a full line-up of holiday events. From special gourmet dinners to a spectacular Christmas tree and Christmas train display (complete with a miniature Alpine village), there are plenty of opportunities to get into the holiday spirit.
Every year, a grand 10-meter Christmas Tree is placed in the center of the main lobby to welcome guests to the Millennium Seoul Hilton and warm people's hearts with Christmas cheer. In the Lower Lobby, designers and engineers recreate a miniature village in the Alps, complete with snow-capped mountains, tunnels, wooden bridges and hot air balloons. The highlight, of course, for both children and adults who are young at heart, is the Christmas Train, a collection of over 120 exquisitely handcrafted locomotives and railroad cars that will chug their way through the little village. All proceeds from advertisements on the railroad cars are then distributed to Hyeshimwon Orphanage. Now in its 16th year, the Christmas train, tree and village will be on display from November 23rd until January 15th, 2012.
Also in the lobby of the hotel, the Gingerbread House is a delightful and magical store where Christmas shoppers can find the most delectable goodies and the perfect stocking stuffers for the loved ones on their Christmas lists. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from November 19th to December 26th.
On December 9th and 10th, Seasons will host its 65th Gourmet Circle Dinner, a dining extravaganza that is celebrated four times a year by Seoul gastronomes. A tribute to winter, this seven-course delight will feature the savory and comforting foods associated with this time of year. The dinner is paired with a fine selection of wines, designed to complement each course. The dinner begins with a champagne reception, and proceeds to the most pleasurably indulgent dining experience.
Taipan will host the 18th Imperial Feast on Thursday, December 15th at 7 p.m. Nine of the most mouthwatering dishes will grace your table, complete with complementary wines and Chinese liquors, making this a banquet fit for the Imperial Palace. In addition, the hotel's other restaurants will all feature various Dining Specials or Holiday Buffets to help you and your loved ones celebrate a memorable Christmas meal.
Countdown your way to the new year at Oak Room's New Year's Eve Champagne Countdown Party on Wednesday, December 31st. Say goodbye to this year and ring in another 365 days of good fortune and happiness in a fun, party atmosphere.
For a special way to start off the new year, Cilantro will host a special New Year's Day Sparkling Brunch on Saturday, January 1st. Toast to a fresh new year of possibilities while dining on Cilantro's celebratory New Year's Day brunch buffet.
