MACCA Deputy Chmn. Song Takes Helm at MACCA

Song Ki-sup, deputy chairman of the Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Agency (MACCA), took office as the chairman of the MACCA in a ceremony at the MACCA building in Daejeon on Nov. 17.
The new MACCA chairman said in his inaugural speech, "We'll do our utmost in creating a pleasant living environment and diverse amenities to make Sejong City a world-class brand city."
A graduate of the University of Seoul Civil Engineering Department, Song began his official career after passing the state-administered technology examination in 1979. He has held positions at the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, including director general in charge of road facilities at the Seoul District Land Management Administration, head of the Daejeon District Land Management Administration, and deputy chief of the director general in charge of relocating public organizations at the MLTM. nw
