In FY2010 (from April 2010 to March 2011), Kyobo Life recorded net profit of KRW 638.9 billion, record high for two consecutive years. This is another laudable achievement that comes on the heels of posting the industry's biggest net profit in FY 2008 despite the unfavorable economic conditions both at home and abroad.
Its solvency margin ratio reached 225%, with equity capital pegged at KRW 4.6 trillion as of March 2011.
Kyobo Life also recorded KRW 58 trillion in total assets and KRW 11 trillion in premium income.
Kyobo Life earned a very positive credit rating of "A2" (stable) for the third consecutive year in 2010 ¡ª the only one in the industry ¡ª from Moody's, an international credit rating agency this mirrors the financial stability of Kyobo Life, which is steadily establishing a solid reputation worldwide. Furthermore NICE Investors Service Co., Ltd., gave Kyobo Life a rating of "AAA" ¡ª the highest grade ¡ª in the insurance financial strength ratings for the third consecutive year.
In November 2009, Kyobo Life had the honor of winning the "2009 Life Insurance Company of the Year" award at the 10th International Reinsurance Conference held in Singapore.
