Daelim Declares ‘Green Construction’
Leading builder celebrates 70th anniversary and to introduce policy to reduce wastes, Co2 gas at project sites
Daelim Industrial Co. declared to pursue ‘green construction’ environment management plan to reduce Co2 gas and construction wastes at its project sites at home and abroad under the new project site management system.
The company said it will adopt the new project management system from its jobsite in Shindang “e-Convenient World” project site to reduce Co2 gas and energy used at its offices by assigning specialists to carry out the company’s new project site management policy.
The jobsite offices will use high-degree heat resistant materials for interiors and paints that cut off sun light reflection to minimize the loss of heat made by the sun light. They will also install water tanks that can hold 300 liters of water each on the roof tops and heat them with sun light so that warm water from the tanks can be used at the offices and toilets.
The company will also install wind and solar power generators that can produce 16 kwh of electricity to light offices and install also an air clearing system using earth heat.
The company also plans to reduce Co2 further by using solar power to light security lights at jobsites and rain water for reuse also to reduce Co2 gas. The company also plans to assign environment watchmen to its project sites to take care of issues related to cutting down wastes from apartment construction sites under its 100 percent waste separation and collection operation plan to make all of its project sites environment friendly.
