Samsung is constructing the prospective world's highest Burj Dubai structure project in the United Arab Emirates without a hitch. In accordance with a deal on the construction of the skyscraper Park I Project in Yeouido, Samsung E&C has landed an order of the first civil engineering phase of the project starting in January of this year.
In the civil engineering area, the contractor is diversifying business portfolios to such sectors as turn-key projects, its strong point, SOC and overseas projects, while working on the grandiose Incheon Bridge project. The Plant Headquarters has landed an EPC-based Island Power Project in Singapore, building up infrastructure for the execution of full-scope EPC projects.
The Housing Development Division has been awarded the landmark Eunpyeong New Town Project Samsung Corp. has topped the National Customer Satisfaction Index for the ninth straight year and became the first Korean contractor to win the Korea Design Grand Prize, solidifying its standing as the industry's top-notched premium brand. It is a trendsetter of health-consciousness, eco-friendliness and high-technology as it has forged a technological ties-up with Microsoft and presented new styles of Samsung Corp.'s housing brand Raemian.
