Renault-Samsung to showcase latest car models at Seoul Motor Show

Renault-Samsung Automobile Co. will debut its two latest passenger concept models at the 2007 Seoul Motor Show April 5-15 at KINTEX in Seoul at its pavilion named "Techno Pavilion."The auto company will introduce H45 Show car model and Renault's latest concept car "Altica"at the motor show before the two well-designed passenger cars are put on sale early this year, the company said.
The company feels that the two latest car models will join with the famous SM series of passenger car lines to showcase Renault-Samsung's current stage of development and its future vision to signal the company's future emergence as a global car maker.
Renault-Samsung as Techno Pavilion as the concept for a motor show, realized friendly image through the display of high-tech and latest car models, which put human at the forefront of priority. The company also tried to give comfort and resting place for visitors to its pavilion at the motor show, the company said.
The pavilion was resembled R, the first letter of the company's name to stress the symbolic nature and at the same time express the dynamic and young nature of the auto company headed toward an endless future, the company said.
The auto company will debut dramatically its H45 Show car for the first time in Asia through the Seoul Motor Show before the passenger car model is put on sale at the end of the year.
In order to better convey to Korean car lovers the diversified advantages of the Show car model and further stress them, the company has built a super screen some 6 meters high and 8.4 meters wide at its pavilion.
The super vision with a sliding function with four divisions will show 3D images shown in liquid and show H45 Show car running in a dynamic fashion to gain a maximum pre-launching effect and present to visitors an exciting time.
The display pavilion will have sections for the SM Series Zone, the H45 Show car Zone, and Renault Zone to sysmatically show off Renault-Samsung's present and future.
In the SM series Zone are models of SM7, SM5, and SM3. SM7, which has been getting continuous love from their customers. SM7 is powered by Neo VQ engine which gives the sedan strong running function and segregated quality with high specifications to show to the car market a new paradigm for a passenger car.
SM5 model is a mid-sized sedan model solidifying its position as a representative model, selling over 530,000 units, gaining reputation as a steady seller due to its outstanding durability. The company will debut SM5 LE Black model for the first time at the show to boost the brand image of SM5 series of passenger car models.
SM3 has shown that it's an entry car representing young generation, which was proven overseas through Nissan's sales network overseas.
In the Renault Zone will be Altica, the latest concept car model to be introduced to the car market for the first time in Asia.
The passenger car model was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show last year, which is the representative concept car made with high technology came by the alliance of Renault and Nissan. It has the dynamic running function of a sports car and practical function of a wagon harmonized together to display the company's futuristic vision, the company said.
H45 Show car to be introduced at the motor show is a four-wheel drive car with off-road moving function, giving to passengers the feeling of dynamic driving and riding experience.
