Declares a new vision and mission with a renewed determination in celebration of the 10th anniversary

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has renewed a pledge to reposition itself as a world-class industrial complex service provider.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of its founding on January 10th, KICOX has declared a new vision: realizing global standards of providing integrated services to industrial complexes and a new mission: improving the corporate value through innovative industrial clusters and new industrial space development.
KICOX executives and staff members vowed their willingness to make a leap forward as a world-class industrial complex service standard-bearer during the anniversary ceremony.
In his speech during the ceremony, Kim Chil-doo, president of KICOX, urged his executives and staff members to pledge their willingness to make KICOX an exemplary world-class industrial complex service provider, saying that KICOX adopted a new vision of realizing global standards of providing integrated services to industrial complexes and a new mission of improving the corporate value through innovative industrial clusters and new industrial space development.
President Kim said, 'In the occasion of the 10th anniversary, KICOX is embarking on another 10 years with the goal of making a leap forward as a specialized industrial complex service provider which takes the lead in innovating companies.'He added that he will step up such management innovations as reorganization.
At the same time, KICOX President Kim awarded the KICOX Grand Prize to four exemplary KICOX officials in four categories, including Yoon Chul, general manager of the Strategic Business Team, in the creative category. The CEOs of three exemplary tenant companies, including MCNEX CEO Min Dong-uk in the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, were also given prizes.
The new vision, worked out after sounding out views from KICOX executives and staff members as well as experts last year, calls for realizing a goal of developing KICOX into a global top-notch provider of integrated and systematic spaces to the occupants of industrial complexes and integrated management support services.
The new mission also calls for creating an organized network among industry, campus, research and government circles centering on industrial complexes and establishing a creative corporate support system through industrial complex clusters. KICOX will strive to create a new industrial space based on a new concept that diverse industrial functions can be combined for a balanced development of residence, research and culture on top of building up production foundation. It also stipulates that KICOX contributes to improving competitiveness and value of tenant companies, invigorating the local economy and strengthening a national competitive edge.
KICOX? PAST AND PRESENT.
KICOX was inaugurated at a result of an integration of the existing five regional industrial complexes in 1997. During the first 10 years, KICOX has been credited with contributing to the development of industrial complexes and the national economy after overcoming challenges facing Korea during the Asian financial crisis.
KICOX sowed the seeds of changes and innovations in industrial complexes to depart from old days of industrial complexes and usher in a new industrial complex era. nw
