Enjoy a special celebratory meal with your family, friends or colleagues at Il Ponte. Celebrate the rich and savory foods of winter with Chef Anita Bidini's New Year Set Menu. This special menu will be offered from December 31, 2006 through to January 6, 2007.
Using rich winter ingredients, Chef Anita Bidini has designed a festive menu that will delight even the most sophisticated palate. Start off the year with an epicurean meal that will be a harbinger for a successful and fruitful year.
The New Year Dinner will start off with a fresh salmon carpaccio marinated with fresh dill, lemon and virgin olive oil, followed by Liguria-style cream of vegetables with ricotta cheese quenelle. The primo course is cannellone stuffed with pumpkin, mushrooms and shrimp, with a tomato and basil sauce. A sherbet made from pears and prosecco wine will cleanse the palate prior to a choice of either secondi di pesce, pan-fried fillet of sole on a bed of grilled zucchini and citrus sauce, or secondi di carne, rack of lamb with a pistachio crust in Marsala sauce and served with Sicilian-style ratatouille. The dolce completes this gourmet banquet with marscapone mousse served with persimmon and chestnuts marinated in grappa.
The six-course dinner is priced at 90,000 won per person and is a delightful way to greet the new year.
Also at Il Ponte, every Saturday and Sunday at lunchtime (11:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.), your children, the chefs of the future, are invited to explore their culinary and creative talents by making their own pizza! Our Chef will then bake your child's masterpiece to simmering perfection!
