Asiana puts A320s on the route on Thursdays and Sundays

Asiana Airlines has launched direct twice-weekly passenger flights to Phnom Penh, becoming the first national flag-carrier to fly to the capital of Cambodia.
A ceremony celebrating the inauguration of a flight to Phom Penh was held at Incheon International Airport on May 24 with Shin Dong-chun, commissioner of Seoul Regional Aviation Administration, Asiana Airlines Vice Chairman Park Chan-beop and President Kang Ju-ahn participating.
Starting May 24, Asiana puts A320s with 143 seats on the route on Thursdays and Sundays. OZ Flight 739 departs Incheon at 7:40 p.m. each on Wednesdays and Fridays and arrives at Phnom Penh at 11:15 p.m. on the same day. The returning OZ Flight 740 leaves the capital of Cambodia at 00:15 a.m. and arrives in Incheon at 7:30 a.m. on the same day.
Phnom Penh is one of the largest tourist attractions on the Indo-Chinese Peninsula. Asiana's launch of a flight to Phnom Penh is expected for tourists to make it easier to travel to Siem Reap where Angko Wat, one of the top seven world mysteries, is located.
Asiana, which launched a flight to Siem Reap last March, now transport 55,000 tourists annually. nw
