Happy New Year
at Millennium Seoul Hilton
In celebration of the new year, two of Millennium Seoul Hilton's finest restaurants are planning special set menus to help you kick off the year 2006 in style. Genji, Millennium Seoul Hilton's Japanese restaurant, and Il Ponte, the hotel's award-winning Italian restaurant, will both feature special prix-fixe dinners in honor of the beginning of a new year. These New Year's set menus offer an auspicious gourmet start to the new year
Chef Anita Bidini has put together a celebratory six-course dinner for the New Year. Some of her gastronomic wonders will include: Grilled Vegetables and Mozzarella Terrine with Sundried Tomatoes Sauce; Traditional Lentil Soup; Veal Medallion with Grappa Sauce; and Sicilian Cannoli. Il Ponte' New Year's dinner set will be made available for only ten days from January 1 through to January 10. This amazing meal is priced at 52,000 won for lunch and 88,000 won for dinner.
Genji is offering a special New Year's dinner, called Yuki Yanagi, available from January 2 through the 31. Enjoy exquisite dishes such as a succulent sampling of tuna belly, seabream, halibut, squid, sweet shrimp and arkshell sashimi, abalone with sea urchin caviar and a trio of vegetables, special beef with wasabi, thinly sliced swellfish with Korean parsley, and crab porridge, just to name a few. This extravagant ten-course dinner is available for 160,000 won per person.
While you're here at the Millennium Seoul Hilton, don't forget to take some photos in our beautifully decorated hotel lobby, which has been decked with boughs of holly and a whole lot more. The magnificently decorated 10-meter tall Christmas Tree and the popular Hilton Christmas Train, complete with its own miniature Christmas village are sure to impress. Take this opportunity to see this wonderful set up (on display until January 22, 2006) before it is dismantled until next holiday season.
