Asiana's E-Ticket Service

Air carrier expands the service making international air tickets available at travel agencies
Asiana Airlines launched e-ticket service at travel agencies across the country so that customers would be able to purchase tickets for its international services from June 24, the air carrier announced recently.
The airline started its first e-ticket service in July last year for the first time in the country, but it was limited to telephone, Internet, the airline's ticket counters and branches, accounting for about 10 percent of total ticket sales. But from June 24, the ticketing service will be expanded to include all travel agents making it possible for customers to buy e-tickets at counters of all travel agents in the country.
The move improved the ticketing service system for customers as it would keep the e-ticket service secure from losses and damage for those individuals and groups who bought international line tickets through the electronic sales system.
Customers can make reservations or pay for tickets through telephone or Internet and use the number given by the airline and exchange it with air tickets at airline counters at the air port on departure days. They also can have ticket price guideline and e-ticket information through e-mail or fax.
